I bought one for my 16 year old son to use. I road tested the Honda Civic, Mazda 3 and Hyundai Elantra. I was most impressed with the Sentra. The Honda has a slight edge n that it's engine is more refined, but that's it. The sticker price is right.

We have a 1998 Nissan Sentra and love it - even with 138,000 miles. This has been a great trouble-free car and we still get over 31 mpg, even in the summer with the AC running.
Finally, after all these years, we had the headliner replaced - other than that, shocks, a complete tune-up at 100,000 miles, tires, brakes, wiper blades - battery a couple of times - just regular maintenance stuff.
I would definitely buy another.
Good luck to you

Very nice cars...the new body style is sharp looking. It's almost an upgrade from an altima. And lots of room inside. By the way I work at a Nissan dealership. The price is right for that car.
