They can think all they want to but when they go to fill their 40 gallon fuel tank twice a week on thier v8 explorer they'll be the ones wishing they were driving a small economy car.

I think a lot of them think that being able to fit all their kids and maybe their kids' school friends into a car to drive them where they need to be car-pooled to is a perfect reason. You don't have to be "better" to spend the money you earned on something that fits the needs of your family.

depends on the suv..i have one, and no, i don't think i'm better...i feel like it's a puffed up station wagon. people that have hummers think they are better.....the rest of us just figure they drive fast, and park far from stores because they can afford an insurance deductable, or claim because the payments are killing them!
no, really....if you said corvettes, jags, boxters, or things like that.. i would have said YES...for no good reason.....

it really depends on the person because i drive a 1987 GMC suburban and i don't think I'm better than any one

my opnion is NO. SOME people just buy them to impress their neighbors .others buy them because their neghbors have one.
