First off, with that car you could be a few problems to look at. 1) is the the radio that is broken, 2) are any of the speakers blown, 3) are any of the speakers grounding out, 4) is the factory amp bad (i believe it comes with a factory amp, you may want to double check)

Your best bet would be to just replace the radio and all the speakers. For the deck I would recommend Eclipse, Pioneer, or Alpine. And don't go with the entry level deck, start with at least the midrange deck and go up, trust me the sound quality and features will be worth the extra money.

For the speakers you should have 6.5 up front and 6x9s in the rear. I would probably go with Infinity, Polk Audio, or Eclipse. However, MTX and Kicker also make good speakers. If you want to go for a little less expensive speaker (i don't recommend it), then I would probably go with Pioneer, Sony, or Alpine.
