My 2005 Kia sorento 5spd trans is great but the 18city 21highway could be helped. I know there are many products out there on the market that dont work or are just rediculious. I already have a K&N filter in my air box looking to widen the exhaust cat back to help with flow. Any other ideas or maybe that you have applied to your own sorento? Any advice would be great!!!

What are my options if my car insurance lapsed and I got into a fender bender? There is no police report but the other parties insurance says i owe them $4300. I'm in California, if that matters.

I have also checked for a bad ground. Keep in mind my car only has 45000miles and it's a standard 5 speed. Unfortunately my warranty has expired. Three year warranty came first and not 65000miles. At least the dealership explains.(PLEASE HELP) and THANK YOU.

Is it a good vehicle to have as an around town and travel kind of car, that would also be good on extreme off road adventures? How about storage space? Would it be ideal for camping trips? (i.e. enough room to hold everything and then some?) I have bad experience with Fords. Is this one an exception, or do screws pop out of this one to?

I am tossed between purchasing a new Element or a new Jeep Liberty, Diesel. I love everythng about the Liberty, except the extreem costs that come with maintenance on a deisel vehicle. I love everything about the Element except the clearance. Can the factory raise up an Element when you buy it upon request, so that it is more suitable for off road? Which would be better for me if I want a good around town vehicle, but would also be used for rugged off road exploration, between the two? Or any other suggestions for a similar type vehicle with decent gas milage?

The red paint on my 2000 Toyota Tacoma has faded and oxidised.
What is the best way to bring back the original color without harming the clearcoat paint?

Firstly, had problems a week ago. Needed a new distributor. Get the car back, and everything's okay for 2 days. Then while driving, the engine cuts out, and won't start back up (coughs, that's it) Took it back to mechanic. Next morning he starts it fine, checks things out and says it's fine. So I get the car back, and the next day, the thing cuts out on me again, while driving.
Got a boost, and it started up right away. Drove home and I'm not going to risk driving it again.
I must add that the engine light came on when this happened. Not the battery light, as you would assume.
What do you think the cause of this problem could be?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
