If a fantastic looking car has a safety rating of 0 would this deter you from purchasing it.
Similarly if the car rated 10 out of 10 looked awful but is the safest thing on 4 wheels why would you not buy it?

I have a 2001 Chevy S-10 Pickup, and the heat and AC have always worked fine, and I have recently discovered that when I turn on the heat it only blows out cool air. This does not matter how long the truck has been running, either. The AC still works fine, any suggestions?

I've used a lot of brands upto now but Mitsubishis never satisfied me... The one i have now is a Lancer and it produces a diesel-like sound from the engine which cannot be diagnosed by anybody.. The car stops running after driving about 50,60 kms straight and can't get started... I've seen so many Mitsubishis that have this problem.. Interior isn't made of out quality materials and too noisy.. The engine produces the 'spark" sound when the A/C is on..Engine never stayed tuned at 800rpm.. Difficult to start in the morning and needs to be reved real hard for the engine to get normal.. Everyday i discover a new problem.. I'm really fed up of this car... I've used Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Honda etc.. and they were great specially Nissan... They never let me down and the cars are of very high quality.. Who else here has bad experiences with Mitsubishi? I'd like to know the model and the type of problem you've had..

Hello, this Q is directed toward any pilots out there.
I was hoping someone could enlighted me as to the time, supply and money investment required in becoming a pilot. My husband thought it may be a good idea for us to both get pitvate pilots' licences and a small prop plane for our own personal travel, however I am a little leery of the huge commitment involved. I have skills as an aircraft electrican, so that would cut a little of the maint. costs, but still there would be fuel and parts, supplies and storage, and many other costs I am not aware of. Could somebody please fill me in on details to give me an educated opinion? Also, any 'insider jargon' to help me look into this topic further would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid and something happened the other day. First, the Speedometer stayed at “0”. Then, the “check engine” light came on. However, during all these, the car was fine and engine was running smoothly. Could anyone tell me what could be wrong? Also, could the “check engine” light come on because of the confusion caused by the Speedometer or could it be something else? Would this be an expensive repair? To add it all, my car is due for an emission test. Would this cause the test to fail? Thanks.

Ok, my car insurance is outrageous and I am reading the fine print. What is: (First one to answer with simple understandable answers will get 10 points)

A) Comprehensive (with 500 deductable) - I already know what deductable is, but what does comprehensive cover? What do I need it for?
b) Collision? (Is this supposed to cover car repairs after accident? My car? Other car?)
c) Uninsured Motor vehicle (bodily injury)?
d) Underinsured motor vehicle (bodily injury)?
