I think I saw a 2007 Camaro on the web, but I was sure I had heard something about a Trans Am? I hope so.

No, there's really no plan for a near future T/A at the moment. The Camaro concept is being built into the production model as we speak and probably will be out 2008 or 9. I saw one in Texas unmarked or plated about 3 months ago so they're on the ball with that. The common concept T/A picture goin around is a replication someone did using the picture that first came out of the Camaro, so it's not an official plan. We all are wondering and us T/A enthusiasts out there can hope and pray. But I honestly think The Great Birds are extinct.

I certainly wish they would. I've asked the same question.

I hope that they make one that looks like this:

Unfortunately, I hear that Pontiac will bring out a new GTO on the Zeta platform that underpins the next generation Camaro. I imagine GM isn't interested in splitting a limited muscle car market between two coupes from the same division.

That's a real shame, because my generation doesn't have any grand memories of GTO heritage. I always drooled over the Trans Ams as a kid, and I still do.

nope not any time soon. See you have to learn the pattern of GM, Camaro is going to be in for a while so Trans Am is not, when the Camaro slows up, then comes the Trans AM!!! Get It!!??

I heard that they are even going to stop making the Monte Carlo, to help the Camaro to shine. Then they are also going to bring back the Monte Carlo with RWD, of course after the Camaro/Trans Am Era

the only pontiac they are bringing back for 2007 is the grand prix... the camaro isn't going to be out until at least 2008.
