also i would like to know what is the legal tint that you can have in maryland.. and also what does a catalytic converter do to an engine. how does it boost an engine or is it even neccesary? also if i boost up my muffler and i am driving a stick shift with a 1.8 liter engine, will that help me much? thank you to all that answer. also, a comment. i tried to buy a maxima but people are not selling their maximas, they are holding on to them. and i do not blame them. how do you think this well affect the resale value of maximas dated from 1998, which to me was the best year of the maxina to the present. as you can tell i love nissan, nismo, maxima products however, i am still open to learning. thanks.

The show Overhaulin' on TLC seems like it would cost a fortune because of all the parts and the labor, how much does it cost for one of those cars to get overhauled? Secondly, does the Overhaulee have to pay anything at all?

It almost sounds and carries on like its dying. I don't think that it gets the gas mileage that it should for a 4 banger. Any ideas?

I own a 2004 F-150 New body style. I can engage 4wd and it works until it's needed. As soon as a load is put on the transfercase (whether it be the slightest grade or high rpm wheelspin) it will disengage the front end. The front driveshaft disegnages and does not spin. It's either switch related or tcase related. I am siding towards transfercase related, I imagine its the electric shift motor (it's Shift on the fly). Does this sound like the shift motor is not engaging all the way or what? The shift motor is only $100 used.

On saturday night, sept.9, around 10pm, I was driving southbound on dranesville road,.

Anyway, we were turning left onto wiehle avenue from Dranesville, but the light was red so we stopped. (he was infront and i was in the car right behind him) Then, we got the green ball/green arrow to turn left so we started into the turn. He was about 20 feet away from me, but while I was into the turn, an oncoming suburban ran the redlight and hit me almost head on.

The guy that hit me is claiming that he had a green light. I know i had a green ball and green arrow and my friend infront of me also told the cop on the scene we had a green ball/green arrow. The police report just says that we are both saying we had green lights and it says there are *no witnesses* although my friend was right there in the car infront me. I've been in advertising since 1992 and I'm getting burnt, fast. It's not that I hate the career; I just think that being able to incorporate my love of all things motorcycle would get me excited again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've primarily been on the agency side as an AE and buyer. Ad sales is a consideration. Writing would be great, but I have little to no experience. Any suggestions? It doesn't necessarily have to be advertising related.

Secondary question - are there websites out there specifically for finding "motorcycle careers"? I know about "motorcycle industry jobs". Any other good ones?

i have 1976 dodge truck b300 5.9l 360 v8, i need connecting rods and connecting rod bearings but no auto parts store that i have called can get them, i heard that you can only get them from dodge dealers but since its a 76 i wont be able to get them from there either, any mechianics out there that nows of cheap, places online that you can order these from except from ebay, wont buy them from there. thankz

1993 toyota camry (4 cyl)

the car ac works well, relatively speaking, but it only blows cold air when im moving, or when the engine speed is higher than idle. it blows cold if i rev the engine up past ~2K when i'm sitting at a light. however, when the car is idling the air coming out is barely "cool".

both the aux fans work btw.
