They look more intimidating then they are.
Go to an auto parts store and get a Haynes, Chilton's, Or Motor manual for around $15. you will get all the info you will need.
PS if you get a forward drum from a Buick you can add an extra clutch and wave washer to your low and reverse clutch pack,
thus turning it into what some tranny shops refer to as a TH375

A shift improver kit is also a good idea too.

there isn't a good enough resource to guide you through this procedure,,I'm sure you don't have the tools to do it with,,not many people do,,one of the presses alone cost over 400 bucks to do the clutch pack with,,i own a repair shop,,and have been doing this for 36 yrs,,and i barely have enough of the needed tools to do it with,,and as far as a good information source there really isn't any,,your going to waste a lot of money doing this,,and be really mad at your self at the end of it all,,I'm telling you the truth,,transmissions are the hardest thing on a vehicle to rebuild,,if the casing has been hot on it,,it may be warped,,and will not hold up once you build it,,this is something only a transmission shop could tell you,not every transmission is build-able,,sometimes they get ruined from being too hot,,if your is build-able,,its going to take you a lot of time to do it,,and its probably not going to work well,,unless you get some experienced help with it,,all i can do is wish you good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

Your best resource for that will be a transmission shop like AAMCO or Cottman. The turbo hydromatic 350 transmission is not that expensive to rebuild and you'll have a good warranty on it. It is a great unit to learn to build on, but if you haven't done it before, believe me it's worth it to take it to a professional to have it done right the first time and have a warranty in case something fails!!
