I know travelling knife saleman use them to hang suits or blazers on but what possible use could normal people have for them? I have enough core stability that I can hold myself upright whilst cornering and I'm sure you would have to be near death to need additional support.

I own a 2006 pontiac g6 with a panoramic sunroof. It's beautiful but the wind noise is unbelieveable. General Motors is offering to let me trade it in if i pay a 1250.00 usage fee. I have only 8000 miles on it. It's been in the shop 7 times. Please learn from my experience and know that this sunroof has problems that GM will not stand behind. They did offer to buy it back less the 2000.00 rebate, they even kept the rebate, and the amout i was upside down in my trade. I know the rules are the rules but i think they can waive the fees for trade. Beware when you buy this roof that it will have problems

Heya guys...I was wondering if anyone had some decent advice, or suggestions on what to do in this situation.

I own a Chrysler 300M, which is now on it's third heart transplant (getting a new engine). I purchased the auto from my parents at the cost of the maintenance of a blown engine. After it was replaced, within a month each, the car was back in the shop for another engine because there were problems with each of them put in.

When the car gets back to me this time, I want to get rid of it...it's too much of a hassle. Luckily, each problem the engine was under warranty, so I didn't have to put out any extra money.

How can I rid myself of this car? I feel like it would be wrong to privately sell this pos., but the value of it (if it's functioning), is about 8k. Now I live in the city so I don't technically need a car, but I'd hate to lose the trade-in value to a dealership I suppose....any suggestions?

Most people have said gasket problems, i wont be able to have it looked at till monday probably. Any ideas what it maybe, and how much. Please serious answers only. I dont want to hear learn to check oil, or get a new car, or just dont lecture me please. Thank you.

I just recently bought a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire from a Dealer. I had to go back and pick up the title because they had to do something with it at the DMV. When I went back a few days later to get the title, it said "salvage rebuilt" on it. Will I have trouble titling and registering this car? Will I have to do anything special in order to register the car?

I'm a single mom of 4 kids, looking for a used 7 passenger vehicle that is not a van. I have driven both and love the discovery, but i also like the durango, however durangos are everywhere! Both used vehicles have about 90,000K on them but are in my current price range. I know their gas milage is similar. Anyone out there that has owned one or the other or better yet both? I have heard Land rovers are great and that they are crap - who knows the truth? I have driven 3 Discoverys from 1997 - 2002 and for some reason i just absolutely loved each of them - not sure why. Any constructive opinions appreciated!

I'm thinking of leasing a new Honda Civic. I was wondering if buying or leasing would be cheaper over time. I know that with leasing, you have to figure other costs like more insurance and maybe going over your mileage. But if I stay under the mileage limit, will leasing or buying a new car save me more money over 10-15 years?

One neighbour asked me to give her a ride everyday. Yesterday one of my friend told me I'm taking a big financial risk by doing so. He said if we involve in an accident and no insurance can cover the losses, then she has the right to sue me to claim all her losses onto me. Even by signing an affidavit will not waive me from this liability. Is it true? If it is, then I have to end my help to her.

If you work or live on the third floor of a building and have access to both an elevator and stairs, do you take the elevator or stairs on a daily basis? not counting the times you have a heavy load of groceries or couple of toddlers of couse.

Why do you take the elevator? You cannot walk up the stairs? It's faster? or the stairs are dangerous?

Why do you take the stairs? to be healthy? more fresh air? or faster?
