I am 22 yrs old and is planning to rent a car to go on a trip with my boyfriend. My bf is over 25 yrs and has bad credit, he doesn't have a credit or a debit card. I want to rent the car for my bf to drive using my credit card, but then i do not want my name add as a driver on the car (because driver under 25 yrs will have to pay 5-15$ extra per day) Is this possible?

Does the way a salesperson is dressed affect the way you feel about them? I just bought a new car at a dealership. The salesman was wearing the company polo shirt with khakis and average shoes. He seemed very nice, but tried so hard to look average it made me wonder. Do you think if a salesperson is wearing nice dress pants, pressed shirt, silk tie, leather shoes, and a nice watch that they make more money from a sale than a salesperson dressed average? Or, does it even matter how a salesperson is dressed to affect the way you feel about getting a good deal on a car?

I'm just curious to see how many people there are who share my opinion on which sex seems to cause the most Road Rage. I'd first like to say that I am by no way sexist and that my opinions are based on my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone. I'd have to say that 95% of my road rage is caused by women drivers, the other 5% undoubtly has to go to old drivers. Most of my experiences revolve around women drivers "DRIVING" in the "PASSING" lane along side another vehicle making it impossible to pass and they appear to be seamingly unaware that there is any1 else on the road with them. There is quite a few other things I've noticed to cause road rage in me, but my point (opinion) here is that it's primarialy caused by WOMEN! If I could get one thing out of this survey it would be:"DRIVE in the RIGHT lane, PASS in the LEFT lane!" 1 more thing, there is 1 group of drivers that rarely cause me any grief, and they r TRUCKERS! At least they pay attention & are curtious!

I recently bought a 2004 Audi A4. After I back out of the drive way I put the automatic transmission in drive, After driving a few feet I hear a brief quiet sound (almost like a grinding noise) and feel a gentle quiet vibration at the same time. This will also occur if I pull forward out of a parking space, but not when I start going at a green light. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

I actually bought a new car back in Nov. '02. Mits. Lancer '03. Well, I regret that. I got totally ripped off. I am still paying for that car plus I have a balloon payment (the interest) coming up in Nov. '07. I know I'm going to be needing a new car soon. I am giving myself some extra time before I buy so I can make the right decision. I narrowed my choices to 2 cars: MINI Cooper/ Toyota Matrix. I ask: How can I haggle prices down? How can I find out what are the taxes in my area? How can get a great loan with my bank? I think I have excellent or almost excellent credit. What advice can you guys give me? (The reason why I'm getting a new car is because my boyfriend is going to be using my Mits. He had to sell his car when we moved. We are both young and need some wise advice.

i just decided to buy a new car and so far theres 2 infiniti g35 coupes the dealership is offering me. theres the black g35 with 290HP and it comes with the Auto-Manual transmission that lets you choose wich mode you want to use and the other is just manual. i want a manual transmission that wont change gears unless i want it to period, but i also want the convenience of an automatic. i'd rather not have the automatic if the manual mode is going to shift by itself or if i forget to shift. i was wondering because my sisters BMW 5 AMG does this. i could be doing a burnout and it will shift to second gear by itself wich is very annoying when trying to drift.
