I am 22 yrs old and is planning to rent a car to go on a trip with my boyfriend. My bf is over 25 yrs and has bad credit, he doesn't have a credit or a debit card. I want to rent the car for my bf to drive using my credit card, but then i do not want my name add as a driver on the car (because driver under 25 yrs will have to pay 5-15$ extra per day) Is this possible?

Enterprise will rent a car with a cash deposit in the amount of your collision coverage deductible.

You can get a prepaid VISA card, that will serve as a credit card and you don't have to have ANY credit history to get it (because it's pre-paid).

You can try. If your boyfriend has bad credit I'd think about doing the insurance &/or the agency will make you get the insurance. I highly recommend getting the insurance in this instance. Why? Because it's amazing how the people you love will turn into utter garbage & a deadbeat if things go wrong & you have to get money out of them.

He doesn't have bad credit without reason.

No, it's not likely they will rent without listing credit card holder(you) as primary driver. They will want your bros' driver's license on the contract, too. You are taking a big chance doing this, you better pray he doesn't have an accident.

Go to the less than mainstream rental companies. Stay away from the Budgets, Avis, Nationals.etc. If you want to establish a relationship with a company, find the prerequsites from a local small renter in your yellow pages.
Small business owners are more likely to do business with you on a personal basis. But Legal issues do reign.

It is time he got a credit card too. Enterprise will let him with a money order deposit rent a car. If he needs to re-establish credit so he can get a credit card again, have him try this out.

dump the bf and get someone who is more responsible. If you let him, he'll ride on your coat tails and take advantage of you any way he can. He'll use you for your money and your credit until your credit sucks too.

you will probably have to pay a little bit more and have to leave a deposit. you will also have to show proof of residence and proper identification. some rental places are kool and some dont want to get ripped off. so you just have to shop around.
