i am so mad. okay i got approved for an 05 pontiac grand am se. that barrier has been brought down. now im stuck with this insurance deal. since i am so new, its hard for me to get a good insurance quote. most places want 600-800 down and i dont have that kind of money. my car note would be around 330 but the insurance is mor3 than the car note. what am i to do? im checking progressive and they quote me at 161 monthy/1000 for 6 months. i cannot pay 360 a month for car insurance. im so sick right now...

I have a 2001 pt cruiser with new thermostat, water pump, and no leaks but it will over heat when I run the a/c or stop at a light. When I get going again it cools down. How can I jump power from the rad fan ignition to the battery to check the fan? I've already checked the fuses. Thanks a lot.

I've noticed what seems to be a faint whirring sound in my car when I am accelerating in 5th gear. There are no performance problems and no engine light. The noise goes away when I stop accelerating and just maintain speed. Perhaps it's just my being sensitive because I recently got the car, but it sounds a bit different than when I first started driving it. Any ideas?

My 89 Buick Skylark has had an overheating problem. I have checked all the hoses, pressure seems fine, water pump is good, no leaks, new thermostat, and no oil or water mix. All the gaskets have been checked and I used sealant on the gaskets I replaced. Could there be anything else I am missing?

my car idles hard at 500 rpm wen it doesnt idle hard at about 750.. i brought it to get checked, mechanic said he couldnt figure it out...also at times wen i put it reverse rpms drop and it wants to give out. any helpful ansers??

I had 2 neighborhs that made it possible for my block to get residential parking permit signs. Now one of them moved out this block, and the other still lives in the block but has a garage. I dont have a permit neither a garage and now im getting tickets. The neighbors and I are very upset about the whole situation but dont know what to do.

She was not even firered up once! The battery won't turn over and I do have maintanence scheduled for new battery in 3 days. When I had new clutch put in 2 months ago my mechanic did notice the battery was a little weak but I told him I had not been driving her at all...and I wasn't really concerned that she needed a new battery. I ignored her for 3 weeks and she won't even kick over...Question if I get a jump should the battery stay charged if I drive her 20 miles or so... I have my own mechanic who I've ahd work on any BMW I've own I trust him completely but he's not available until my appt. only answer this if you know what you're talking about or I'll come back to haunt you!

Hi everyone. I am financing a car that I got the end of June and havent made the first payment yet(its due in a couple of days). I was intrested in trading it in already but wasen't sure how soon a person can trade in a car or if you have to make some payments before hand etc....I financed my car for $14,500 but a couple of the cars that I am intrested in are around $13,000. Can I even consider a car around this price or will it "default" my loan? I want't to be able to go in knowing a little about this so the dealers don't think that I am absoultly cluess.
