yes, but you can just use some of the fuel additives you can buy at any automotive store or even wal mart. It will also help to improve you gas mileage.

Unless you have a car with extremely high mileage, in a word "NO".
The fuel you are paying over $3.00 a gallon fore has the same cleaners in it that you will buy at the parts house.
If you are trying to eliminate a problem, find out what the problem is first before throwing money at something you can't see.
If you have been told that you need a fuel injector service by a chain store (Sears, Firestone etc) ask them to tell you why. If the answer boils down to "maintain your car" or "much better performance" or "marked increase fuel mileage" save your money.
If you have a car with more than 150,000 miles on it and it doesn't seem to idle and run as smooth as it did, and a REPUTABLE service provider recommends an injector cleaning service with a by-pass system machine that cleans the injector fuel circuit at the engine, and cleans the intake plenum, it MAY well be worth the time and money.
BE WARNED--->There is no guarantee that there will be any appreciable change, but there probably will be a noticeable difference.

Good luck!

Yes it is important. You can add a bottle of additive to your tank at least every 6,000 miles. None of the cheap stuff though, pay a little more for the good brands. Outlaw, is excellent and Chevron with Techron is another good cleaner. Your dealer probably recommends an induction service at 15,000 mile intervals. You would be surprised at how much it will improve the performance of your engine with a clean intake, injectors, throttle plate and intake valves. I think it is worth the investment.
