I just read that 38% of all recalls so far this year are from the so-called quality king Toyota. I wonder how long the uninformed public will continue to give them a free pass? I mean, a couple of the defects were cdangerous and they're being SUED by the japanese govt! WOW

1979 Chevy Silverado Big 10 pickup, Brown and Tan, with 8 yr old (but well taken care of) rebuilt motor:
350 small block 8 cylinder
Rochester 4 barrel carb
High volume (not high pressure) oil pump
Flat pistons stamped 20 thou. over
Cherry Bombs
Straight Pipes (dual exhaust)
Can and will set you back in the seat
Body needs some work (very little rust, just some scratches and faded paint). Tailgate does not open unless you have the right screwdriver.

I was recently told by my Saturn dealership that I needed a motor mount replacement - at 38,000 miles. The repair rep assured me that motor mounts generally need replacing "40 to 50 thousand miles." Does this seem crazy?

Have you heard of or been to a small plane campground, where you could fly in, maybe taxi over to your own campspot with a fire pit, and a yurt or small cabin, maybe have a little grocery store to buy some hot dogs or a few neccecites, where you could buy aviation fuel, and spend a few quiet days, fish or relax. Would you go to someplace like that? I'm trying to think of something to do in my retirement, would a campground like that be a good idea?

I don't believe in God any more because of a tragic motor scooter and gun accident that blew off my left foot and three fingers. I often wonder that if I saw Bozo naked would I think that chocolate milk cannot be sold in stores in a plastic container, or could it? That is a very deep and philosophical question that many great people like Coach Ditka and Jesus could not answer when they went before a grand jury for illegal dancing in Utah. Just because Van Halen does not play at your grammar school dance doesn't mean that you have missed out in life or did something wrong. You have to move past those issues and begin to address the fact that Men are from Mars and Women are from Saturn. I once fed a dead rat to a blind man in a tossed salad and he was not happy with the dressing I picked for him. Do you ever reflect on the meaning of extra large shrimp or why plumbers don't lay plumbs when bricklayers lay bricks? Dance freely and don't forget to wear sunscreen when you go to the b

Have you ever converted your air cond unit to 134 instead of the old r12?Can i do this by myself? What do i have to do exactly please.I have the gauge already to be sure there is enough r12 in it already. But i don't think there is because its cool then a couple mi later its warm.Thats why i want to convert it altogether over to 134 if it is low.Cause if it's low i can't get the r12 anyway so what do you think is it tricky to convert? It's a 89 Chrystler 5th ave 5.2, if that means anything thanks.
