in california, the car at fault is the car that stops in the middle of the road. It is 100% at fault because it is blocking traffic.

It's yours. Any time you hit someone in the back it's always your fault because your to close and you need to be at least 1 car length behind of them

hi,

look I'm sorry to say but here in australia if your on the motorways and you crash into someone from behind you'll be at fault 9 times out of 10 as you should've been paying more attention to whats happening infront of you, the only time that your not at fault here is when the party that you hit claims liability.
so yeah sorry to say but you'll be buggered and if you do this in australia you'll most likely incur a loss of licence and somesort of fine, anywhere from AUD $250 upwards.

It is your fault in most cases especial in California "blaze"
If you get witnesses to state the car in front stopped for an unjust cause then it is their at fault

sorry to tell you this but they will most likely class it as your fault because they will say you was following the other car to close and you should have ha better control of your car. hope it all works out good luck

You're at fault unless you can PROVE they stopped in the middle of traffic flow.

Unless you can prove that the front car is at fault (brake lights not working, etc.), you will take the heat.

The person who actually *strikes* another vehicle is at fault.

If you rear ended someone, it'd be your fault.
