thinking of getting a new car..i know camrys are good but we've had like 5 in and out of our family members.. i sick of it. i might be able to get an accord for $18,700 or something..is that good price? also, what about a jetta? =T

it's a 2006 new one...first we got a quote for $18k for a LX, but a friend's friend said they can get an EX for $18,700! wonder if its too good to be true...

I have a Honda Accord sedan, 2001, have had it since it was new, it has 101,000 miles on it (i drive all over the place cause i hate to fly) and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. You must know, however, I have kept the maintenance up very very good. The only thing I was late on was its 90,000 mile checkup (which costs about $500.00 ~ more if you go to the dealership)... I still love my car and Hondas usually have really good re-sale value. that sounds like a good price also. I got mine five years ago for $22,600 (EX version)

Honda Accord new series or Honda Civic 2.0 (2000-2005) is good choice .

Those are both very good solid reliable cars. I would go with the accord however because they like most hondas run for a very long time with great build quality and a pretty nice warranty.

all of you guys are definitely right! nothing can go wrong with honda, i own a 1.8 honda accord 1984, my grandpa gave it to me as my first car & guess what? it has the same age as mine - definitely a sentimental value !!! it is still up & running, some of my friends thought it was all brand new, hahaa...
my family had a 1989 accord too, both thumbs up from both my parents! we sold that one like 10years ago... my dad have just booked the latest honda accord 2.4, can't wait to hitch a ride! my verdict: honda definitely a right choice! =) have a nice day!

Hondas are good cars that run forever. Although parts are expensive for Hondas or any foreign car for that matter.

Yeah the Honda Accord is an awsome vehicle. The interior of the newer models is much more appealing than the interior of the jetta. It looks much more modern....I have an 03 and it is really room and gets pretty good gas milage. I have a V6 and i get 22/30.

Honda was almost always a good choice! I never owned one, preferring fords myself. I've been an auto mechanic for 35 years and I'd give them a "thumbs up" if ya take care of them. Oil changes and stuff!

hondas are good cars. you can maintane them anywhere becasue they are litteraly EVERYWHERE. jettas are very good cuz germans know how to make cars and they last a while. plus it goes faster ^_^ but yea honda accord is definatly good because of the good gas mileage around 30?? i think..... but yea if ur gonna get a honda accord, get a used '04 honda accord LX. those are nice.
