Hello everybody, Im going to make my question as clear and simple as I possibly can. I want to get a set of 20" rims with 245/35/20 tires. I own a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria just like the one on this link http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/...media/299600_1 As you can see the car is lowered and the wheels are tucked neatly under neath the car. I would like my car to be lowered as well. What offset and rim size do I need in order to make sure that the rims are tucked under neath and inside the car's body and not outside sticking out past the fenders. Like I said I want to lower my car, and if the offset is wrong the wheels could come out past the fenders making it impossible to lower because the fenders will then hit the wheels if lowered, you know what I mean... One "auto expert" told me I could get 20x8.5 rims with +18 offset. Another "auto expert" told me to look for 20x7.5 rims with +42 offset. Im confused. I hope your not.

I think this oil leak is coming from the back side of the engine. l lose about a quart in 40 - 50 miles. we took it to get worked on a couple times but the problem is still there. the machanic if you can call him one sealed the oil pan. we see it dripping off the pan by the belt and buy the front passenger wheel. im realy hoping its not the rear oil seal. so has anyone had this problem with thier Tibi?

Do you really have to change your oil every 3,000 - 5,000 miles? I heard that with todays newer vehicles you could go up to 7,000 and be fine. Does anyone know what the exact recommendations are?

I need a car with which I'll commute about 100 miles a day over the next year. I have a budget limited to 7K max, what is the most financially viable option, considering the possibility of selling the 2nd hand car if I buy one now? Leasing seems expensive and value is lost away- especially in long commutes - any recos /experiences on that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Just wondering what you all thought...

I currently have a place to stay until I find an apartment of my own. But I need to find a job. I do not have car. With the money I have saved up I was either gonna go get the apt or buy a car. I figured if I had an apt I can go look for a job at anytime and just walk or use public transportation which is no big deal to me. But then I also figured if I got a car first I could get the car then apply for an apt because they just need to know that you will be making about 3x rent anyways. That dont really need to see it. So i thought get a car so I know I can get to and from work. I dont know.
What do you guys think should be the best way to go about that?

I want to buy a used car that is safe and the back seat has to be big enough for 2 car seats and still room for one more person. Don't want an SUV and not sure about a minivan.

Thanks!
