You could try using a cassette cleaner,
you can pick one up rather cheaply.
The other thing you could try is picking up another factory stereo at a junk yard.

It really isn't worth the repair price that it would cost. You can inquire at auto-sound shops to get more info, but if it were me, I'd just have a place like Best Buy or the like install a new car stereo. Below is a link for an example, but just shop around. If you've got a lot of cassette tapes to play, you can always also buy an add-on tape player that plugs into an accessory port on the car stereo. Good listening,

good day bypass over In answering your question its a positive guess that you've destroyed the entire engine. Its purely as undesirable a neglecting a rear significant seal on your motor vehicle and once you get small swimming pools of oil after its been sitting then properly you get the photo that asserts purely good bye engine. yet another ingredient is that you've did not do the close checks and upkeep schedules on your motor vehicle. Do you've a vendors guide that you seldom study.? As a motor vehicle proprietor i'm saddened by technique of what you've finished yet take it to a engine re-builders save and purely pray its no longer previous $3,000 to fix it and placed it decrease back together back.
