someone told me if a mexican buys lets say a 2006 car in the US and decides to go back to Mexico, they aren't allowed to have newer cars. They must be 10 years and older cars.

All right i have a budget of about $4000 (minus some for my car itself) and i need to know how much horse power i can get out of a stock 16 valve W/ Dohc. Ive got a 1993 eagle talon. I want the SOB to be atleast a 10 sec car (made a good sized bet with a friend and i intend on winning).

The frame of my mustang if pretty rusted. In fact, the car is starting to sag in the middle. Is this repairable? If so, what should I expect to pay? Where should I go? Are there in expensive alternatives (ie. reinforcement instead of replacement). This car is a daily driver thats in good shape-other than the frame. Any recommendations?

A friend in another state recently told me that one reason he avoids a certain brand of gasoline is that they cut it with 10% ethanol. He said that his mechanic has told him that even a little ethanol would leave black deposits in his carburator that would ultimately ruin it.

I, on the other hand, have lived for quite a while in a state that mandates 10% ethanol in ALL gasoline. I have never had carburator trouble, nor have I even heard of anyone else with such a problem.

What is the straight scoop? If there are carburator problems for regular engines, is the story any different for flexi-fuel engines (engines designed to run on gas and gas-ethanol mixtures)?
