you are always suppose to yield the right of way. so the car on the right legally has the right to go. however, if the car on the left does get their first by common courtesy that car should go first. if you live in los angeles it is the car that can take off faster and the slower one must yield, so it depends on a few factors.

If the car on the left got there first then it is first come first serve. If you get there at the same time then the car on the right has the first go.

The car on the right has the right-of-way, but if I was on the right I would definitely be watching to see if the car on the left is going to stop. I would not assume since I had the right-of-way that he will give it to me.

who ever got there first has the right-of-way. Although all should stop if there is no stop signs or anything. Then the first one that got there can go and then you and then who ever came after you. First come first serve.

You'd be a fool to argue with a car that has got there first !
ALL Junctions are potentially dangerous areas - treat them all with caution.

Sadly, it doesn't matter who has the right of way. Proceed with caution at any intersection regardless of who has the right of way.

I assume there are stop signs. If that is the case first to come to a complete stop is first to go.
