The frame of my mustang if pretty rusted. In fact, the car is starting to sag in the middle. Is this repairable? If so, what should I expect to pay? Where should I go? Are there in expensive alternatives (ie. reinforcement instead of replacement). This car is a daily driver thats in good shape-other than the frame. Any recommendations?

If the frame is rusted that badly, it will need to be completely replaced. You can't weld a reinforcement to a bunch of rust, you know! 60s vintage Fords were infamous for this; the only surprise is that yours has lasted this long.

bostonianinmo is right. The frame rails need to be replaced. Make sure the shop you use is used to working on older cars. This is a major repair.

Rust is very expensive to repair.Find another car.Convertibles have torque boxes and frame rails.Very expensive and I learned the hard way.I bought a badly rusted 68 Mustang .convertible.Big mistake and time consuming.

If the rest of the car needs restoring and if it has a lot of miles on it as well its probably not worth it. Keep it for parts and find another one.
