Kia.
Suzuki.

These cars are so bad, that a lot of finance companies won't give out loans on them.

Your biggest concern with a new car isn't what will or won't go wrong and how often. The biggest expense is depreciation. Cars that depreciate a lot cost a lot in the longrun. Especially if you try to trade out before the term is over with. You'll get into a situation called "negative equity". Which means that you owe more than the vehicle is worth. I've seen this gap as high as $17k dollars before on a Suzuki. Average gap for a domestic is around 4k and about 8k for a full size domestic SUV.

Most Honda and Toyota owners never encounter this large of gap or any for that matter, unless they financed a previous negative equity amount or have a high interest rate.

Well if you are getting a new one, then who cares because you get a warrenty. But if you are getting a used car I recommand a car without a alarm. Personally I liked cars with remoted but I so far I had three cars with remotes and had to uninstall it because the alarm would turn on itself on a parking lot.

I would never buy these cars:

Saturn - motors are junk, body is plastic
Any Hybrid - more to go wrong, more to cost you money
Any SUV - pickups are better.. if you need the seating Station Wagons are COOL :P
Any 4x4 - Unless you plan to go offroad..
