I was just curious if anyone knows how accurate times are when using online map services like Mapquest ? For example from NC to NY is about 700 miles and Mapquest says it will take about 12 hours. Do you think that is based on driving right at the speed limit ? Anyone know if there is a site where you can enter your MPH to calculate travel time ? Thanks everyone.

I'm told I shouldn't use car or LT tires on my utility trailer. I can't seem to find trailer tires that fit on 15 X 8 rims. The widest spec I find is for a 7 inch wide rim. Will I really have problems if I use LT tires? I'd love to use 31 X10.50 - 15s to match my tow vehicle.
Any help?

1988 F150 Ford Lariat Truck, New battery and alternator. Elec fuel inject. over 1/2 tank of gas. Cranks over after a few tries but dies out. When cranking it sounds like it wants to catch but just can't. Doesn't sound 'watery' or like low battery or anything. Any ideas? Could it be the fuel filter or something clogged? Kinda stuck on ideas. Any help would be awesome.

This is a picture of an SV650 with some kind of modification under the engine. It's the part that covers the exhaust after it leaves the engine(same color as the gas tank) I was wondering if this peice serves some kind of purpose...maybe aerodynamic/engine guard??? I was wondering if someone could tell me the name and maybe where to find it. I just bought an SV650 and thought it would look really cool on the bike and even cooler if it served a purpose. A vehicle exiting a private business complex turning left onto public street with oncoming traffic (a parked van obstructing view) said both directions were clear and continued w/ turn. After clearing van noticed motorcycle approachimg fast and stopped his vehicle in street. Motorcycle hit brakes immediatlely,went down,bike and rider separated shortly before both collided w/ stopped vehicle. Driver of MC dies.

I have a 2002 Ram 1500 w/ a 360 auto (14 bolt pan). I all the sudden lost the speedometer along with the cruise. I replaced the Speed sensor on the left hand side of the transmission near the tailshaft. Nothing. I dont see any fuses for the cruise or speedometer, just relays. Anyone know what this might be? I know there is another sensor on the rearend but I think it has something to do with the ABS system. Thanks
