heres the deal i replaced the altenator and battery changed spark plugs and wires on my non turbo 1990 toyota supra at idle my altenator isnt charging the battery i beileve that this is the reason my check engine light is on , when im driving the voltage is only at about 14 volts i didnt do a voltage drop test yet but i wanted to get some ideas first

I have a 97 taurus that i bought second hand it has an autostart and a remote door unlock & trunk.
I have noticed that the antenna above the rear view mirror blinks a red light I only noticed it when it was dark is this a normal thing or is something wrong is it going to drain my battery if left for long periods

I am arriving at Luton Airport London and going on to Barking. I thought to take the Thameslink City Flier and at Blackfriars change to the District Line on the Tube, which runs to Barking. its a 1995 mercury cougar
its in good condition
its white with blue interior
it belonged to my grandma befor she gave it to me and all my friends know that it was her car
has no scraches or dents
