it sounds like an indicater light thats just part of the system , i wouldn't worry about it draining you battery. but if left for LONG periods of time a digital clock that stays on can run down your battery.

The Only brand I have ever run across that has LED's in the antenna is Ultra Start. Now if it is an Ultra Start, it is normal for the LED to blink and it draws such little current for the vehicle that there is nothing to worry about. However if you don't drive it for a long period of time ( 1 1/2 months or more) or you have a week battery or alternator you could have an issue. Now if its not an Ultra Start you need to tell what company it and I could check it out for you

the red light is just an indicator it shouldnt drain your battery, another thing did you notice it while you were in or out of your car, and if you did notice it out of your car were you pushing any of the buttons to lock/unlock the car or open the truck, and does it blink only when locked
