I'm picking one up today and I want to know how screwed I will be at the pump when I fill 'er up.

OK. Let me be a little more specific. Its Jeep Cherokee 4dr Sport. Not a Grand Cherokee, the SUV version.

Its a 20 gallon tank. I own a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6.
Also for your information, if you own a V6, then your gas mileage is 20 highway, and 15 city. It is sad to know that my Trans Am gets better MPG than my Jeep.
Given the high gas prices, sell it and buy something else. I will say that Jeeps are great for off-roading even in their stock state!

I found three sites that list the specs for 1995 Jeeps. The first two claim 23 gallons and the third claims 20 gallons. There maybe a variance for 2 or 4 door, 2wd or 4wd. The three sites are listed below.

Probably 25 gallons but call a dealer to be sure. (Parts dept can help) be ready to give Vin number etc for them to referance.
