If they're going to spend the money on vinyls and such for their V6, why not just get the much better, only slightly more expensive V8?

Some people just don't believe they can afford the V-8, no matter the small increase in initial outlay. It's like I ask why people buy gasoline powered pickup trucks when for just a few thousand more, they can have diesel, which lasts much longer and has much more torque. Some people just can't afford it, or think they can't, and some people just don't realize why diesel is so much better, except for the deep rumbling sound it makes when running, and to them, it ain't worth the money just to make a deep rumbling sound. To each his own, I guess. God Bless you.

i don't understand why genuinely everyone one is so in contact approximately Mustangs in undesirable climate, they are not as undesirable as genuinely everyone seems to be making them out to be. i've got pushed my supercharged 03 GT (on a million/2-worn summer season tires no much less) via unplowed roads formerly and that i by no ability have been given caught. even while i became sixteen I drove a seventy 4 F-one hundred 2WD with a gentle 390 BB, 40 miles around holiday via unplowed roads to get to college (which became out to be closed) in the time of the snow fall of ninety six, and that i by no ability have been given caught the two. this is not what you tension, this is the kind you tension it. A V6 Mustang is high quality for an 18 12 months old IMHO. I had a 1992 T-poultry SC at that age, and by no ability placed a scratch on it.

i love cars with big engine i love speed and drive fast i have a mustang gt 2004 v8 manual transmission i really lov this car is fast it gain speed really quick and is fun to drive
but i had to pay a lot of money on tickets for speeding
so the point is that we can not drive fast so people preffer to have a smaller engine they save money , they save in gas and they still can drive it up to 90 or 100 mph
in the case of the mustang V6 and V8 is the same the V8 is faster and spund a lot better but the speed limit is the same for all the cars . and dont get my wrong i really love big engine i have an trans arm with a enginethat have more than 800 HP i have been working in that car for more than 4 years and i finnaly finish it but i only use it on the weekend and i have to drive it slow , i take it to races but is not the same

first off the new mustang even with the v6 is not crappy at all
second while the v8 isn't much more at the outset, the insurance goes from manageable to "no buddy not you at any price"
third while I'm not much for vinyl, free flowing exhaust [cat back of course] a cold air intake ,chip and spray does it for me and would have made the same mods to a v8 anyway .

Probably the same reason that the people with even crappier '91 Civics (or other crappy car) try to make them look cool in their eyes. At least the Mustang is halfway decent looking. Those "so called" tuner Civics (and any other primer grey car with white body kit) look ridiculous and the emmisions created by them is horrible. Then there is the sound. Whining, buzzing. What ever happened to the sweet Burble of a V-8?

I agree, I just bought the V8, but at my husbands insistence. I guess some people want to save gas money on the V6, thats why I would have bought it

Because they aren't particularly bright, they look at the initial sticker price, then don't do the math. Then they have this car they want to show off, so they try to dress it up.
Personally, I think all the new Mustangs look like a cheap plastic piece of crap, once you look inside. I was sooo disappointed when I went to see them. I will always love the old ones best, I guess.
