I look at vision of people living in high rise apartments all over the world, having to get lifts to and from their front doors to the street.
I'd hate not being able to walk out my front door into my garden, or out the back to swim in my pool or play with the dog.
Do you have to have a lot of money in America to have a front and back yard? or do people choose this way of living?

I am thinking of becoming a leasing consultant for an apartment complex in my area. I used to be a property management assistant for an HOA, and I am wondering what kind of discount, if any, I would be receiving to live in one of the management company's complexes? Also, with my experience, would it be out of line to ask for a pay of $13-15 an hour in the DC area? If not, what kind of pay should I ask for? I was an assistant for about a year and have great references, including my old boss. Thanks for your help!

My son wants me to give a statement saying he lived in a house we own that our other son is living in. And wants us to say she has paid $900/mo for the last 5 years. We haven't even owned the house that long.

The set price for the house is 169,900 but the seller told me that she is "very motivated to sell". I don't want to lowball my offer so much that the seller laughs and walks away from me. So any ideas on the amount a very motivated seller would be willing to drop on price. Thanks

They said that they don't have to tell her why they don't want to renew. That sucks because she was given only 30 days. Is there a law to protect the renter. 30 days is not enough notice. She has a husband, 3 kids and a mother-in-law that just moved in with them. Mom already wants to go back home. My hands a tied. I can't help her. If I had the money I'd help her get a home. But I can't.

It's been almost half a month and she hasn't paid for the final month of rent, WHILE leaving me with other various bills she is responsible for. She isn't contacting me back which I believe is enough cause to back my theory up.

She has left some of her stuff here and I was wondering do I have the ability legally to sell her stuff to cover her half of the rent?

If one home in a particular housing tract has asbestos in the ceiling, it is safe to assume homes, constructed in the same time frame; of similar construction have similar construction methods and materials. Homes were constructed under rigid specifications & control of Builder/Developer.

General understanding is that homes built pre 1970 have it, early 1970s probability very high have it, mid 1970s possibly have it and 1980 and after, it was outlawed.

Many environmental risk assessments rely on exposure levels in parts per million or billion.

State is CA

If a legal notice is published stating that one home in the tract has asbestos, is this sufficient legal grounds to force all realtors selling homes in the tract to declare the prospect of asbestos on future selling documents?

What if notice is sent to local realty board?

What if notice is sent to each local realty broker who operates a sales office?

Someone was telling me that it is not legal to accept money from a person who is just renting for a one week vacation and give it to the owner of the property without having a real estate license. Is this true? where might I be able to find info on this to proove this to him. I don't think that you have to.

I'm 17 years old, my parents are kicking me out of my house. I have a friend that is pregnant and due in september, she's applying for housing. I want to know if she could include me on her housing application and could get an extra bedroom for me to stay as well. I have a job, and my own car and pay for my own expensives. I could help her out with rent, however much that would be.

Also, I need to know if I could apply for foodstamps because I won't have my parents to support me anymore. I'm still fully enrolled in highschool, and dropping out is the last thing on my list.

PLEASE HELP.

Scenario:
Foreclosure is imminent; Non-Judicial state (California). The homeowner has run out of options (short sale, deed in lieu, etc.) and is prepared to walk away.

They respond to a road sign that says "we buy houses".
The company represents that they will "buy" the house in an attempt to sell it to a 3rd party or private investor.

To do so it requires the owner to sign over title. No promises are made that they will be able to sell the house and no promise is made that the owner will in any way be able to regain title. Unlike equity skimming scams, the intent is not for the owner to rent or lease the property and regain title later. Disclosure is made that any equity in the home will be lost and the only goal in the transaction is to avoid a foreclosure on the credit of the owner. Even that is explained that it is not a guarantee that this will occur and it is up to the owner to dilligently communicate with the credit credit bureaus.

I have just finished researching every state and almost every city in the Americas for the purpose of moving. And what the bloody heck, it's all the same cost! same rent costs, almost the same fuel costs, job market is bad everywhere, especially if your a middle to lower class income like myself. as far as I can tell, the only reason to move is for a change of scenery. am I wrong, or did I just bloody waste 2 months of my time?

My friend said that with okay credit and no down payment, the terms they are offering me are impossible. I hope she's wrong as I already see the house I want and have had the approval letter and ALL the paper work written up with my terms. I'm just told to expect a bait and switch at closing. Also a friend of my said to try ditech. I had a car loan through GMAC that is Ditech so maybe that will help. Any advice? Thanks and God Bless
