I'm 17 years old, my parents are kicking me out of my house. I have a friend that is pregnant and due in september, she's applying for housing. I want to know if she could include me on her housing application and could get an extra bedroom for me to stay as well. I have a job, and my own car and pay for my own expensives. I could help her out with rent, however much that would be.

Also, I need to know if I could apply for foodstamps because I won't have my parents to support me anymore. I'm still fully enrolled in highschool, and dropping out is the last thing on my list.

PLEASE HELP.

Honestly, I'd suggest you get yourself an attorney. As a minor you will have great difficulty in entering into any legal agreements. Your parents are still legally obligated to pay for your support until you turn 18. An attorney can assist you in making them pay if they are kicking you out. As a high school student, it's not likely that you'll have enough money to pay your own way.
