I was wondering if there were any websites that offered a list of all houses for sale? Like all the listings not just remax and coldwell bankers.

My landlord has been acting really inappropriately towards me lately, like making excuses to come by my apartment late at night when none of the other neighbors are around just to "check" to see if everything's going okay, or to make sure I paid my rent (which I always do on time), and then hitting on me and telling me how cute I am, and generally making me uncomfortable. I'm the only tenant he does this to. I never allow him into my apartment during these times, but I would like to have another lock on my door because it makes me nervous that he has keys to my place and is acting this way towards me. Can I legally add an additional lock to my apartment door? I can't move right now, but I also cannot live in a place where I don't feel safe because of the landlord. I'm not going to answer my door anymore late at night, but there has got to be something else I can do to ensure my safety. My landlord also lives across town which makes these late night visits even more suspicious.

Hi,

I have saved some money, and I could buy a little mobile home... and I am wondering if this is a good idea or not.

Please help me.

Are mobile homes only for poor people?
Is it dangerous to live in a mobile home (I'm a young female)?
Is it really a smart idea financially to buy a mobile home and pay a lot rent (about $200 or $300/month) instead of renting a place for about $500/month?

Thank you in advance.

*I have 2 loans for my mortgage from the same lender so that is why it's two late payments.

The late payment was a total screw-up on my part. I totally had the money in my account.

I want to purchase another condo next year but I'm wondering if this late payment has totally hurt my chances.

Is their money for rent included in their welfare payment?
Does the money for rent get awarded to them seperately and it's their own responsiblity to pay for the roof above their head?
Does their rent get paid directly to the landlord?
Or does it work different still?

My husband and I are 1st time homebuyers. We have been preapproved for a house loan, but are not having luck finding what we want. We have toyed with the idea of building our own. What are the differences between getting a preapproved loan and buying a already built house and going through getting a construction loan? Do you have to put money up front for a construction loan? Do you make mortgage payments while the house is being built, or do you wait until the house is completed? Is there a time frame that the house must be built within? If we were preapproved for a certain amount with a homebuyers loan, would we likely be preapproved for the same amount for a construction loan? What other differences should I know about? Since we are first time homebuyers we do not have much collateral (we do have some savings, but not a ton), would that affect our ability to get a construction loan?

My husband has some credit issues and the only type of loan we qualify for right now is a 85% conventional loan w/ 9.75 adjustable interest rate. That loan is not an option. We will get back about $10,000 when we sell our house. We have to move because our neighborhood has gotten exemtrely bad. We seen a lot of adversiting for lease/purchases and owner financing. Our concerns is that the owner may not pay the house payments and we get evicted. Or the house is in pre-foreclosure and we don't know it. Any suggestions?

I just got an 8 week old shih tzu puppy, but my dad just signed a lease for us to move into a new condo (that the owner is renting out to us) that allows no pets. I love my puppy and want to keep him. Do you think its possible since shih tzu's seldom bark and other neighbors have animals. The only reason the owner of this one wants no pets because she thinks it'll make the house dirty/smelly. The owner doesn't live in this building and i think i am going to train him to pee on puppy pads and only once a day take walks (the condo is huge). What do you think?
