I want to buy this trailer from a friend, but I really don't beleive him when he tells me what it has been renting for. It's been on the same lot since 1990, the utility companies say it has had a sketchy rental history the whole time.

I am interested to see a home that says "sale is subject to owner finding home of choice"
Is this worth the headache that it sounds? I like the house, and would like to see it, but that kind of turns me off and makes me think...Pain in the ar se? Y/N?

I was buying a house when I got transferred. The builder agreed to keep my deposit of $21,000. In addition, I got a bill from my real estate agent for $12,000. She says, even though the house did not close, she was my representative and is entitiled to the fee for services rendered. There were no services rendered. Also, she is related to the builder's agent and never disclosed that to me. The contract states that the seller will pay real estate fees at closing.

Do I need a down payment to get a house loan? I have a terrific credit score (above 750), but no money for a down payment because I just paid off some huge medical bills. I have NO other debt either, not even school loans, credit cards, or a car payment. Thanks for your advice!

Here's the deal... I am in graduate school and I have a horrible relationship with my parents. They are actually helping me pay for some of the costs of living (rent, mostly) because I get almost no money for teaching and being a grad student. Anyway, I want to be independent and cut ties w/ my parents but with the amount of money I have and the expense of this city, a trailer park is the most reasonable place to go. A 900 square foot condo is 530,000 and a trailer of that size is about 30,000 which I can afford.

Also, housing prices are declining and I am afraid to buy. I hate renting because my money just goes out the window. Are trailer parks safe to live in alone? Can people break in? Can I walk around at night? Would people outside the trailer park not want to associate with me if I was "trailer trash"? I mean, could I date someone if he knew where I lived? Just considering all of this - thanks for SERIOUS REPLIES only. This is a stressful decision.

Hi, I'm looking for find information for getting the government to help with a down payment grant for a very low income family. I looked at 10.410 Very Low to Moderate Income Housing Loans which is now section 502, but that is a loan for 100% of the price of the home.. I feel as though I can still quialify to get a home on my own, but really need help with the down payment. I've been lookin on HUD for the program, but can't find it. Any help would be more than welcome, I have a very short time (2 months) before I am being forced to move elsewhere. I unfortually have to move out of State for I can't afford rent or a home in my current State. Also would moving to a City(metro area) help any with finding a grant? Thanks

The estate agent let my property out for £900 pcm, i am only receiving £500pcm.I have not been told why and who is responsible for the difference.
According to the tenant the estate agent knew that he was on housing benefit and unemployed and he could not afford £900pcm.
I asked them to let, collect the rent and manage the property for me at 15% commission which they have already taken out of the proceeds for a year.
The tenant is not paying the rent and they have not bothered to do anything about it.
The tenant has also broken the toilet and bath, I asked the estate agent to have it repaired way back in July they have not bothered.
In september I sent the case to the trading standards for help,I have not heard anything from them either.
I dont know what to do and I want my property back.

Should that apply to just the 80% loan and not the 20% loan? What he did was charge 1.33% against the 80% which made the charge 1% for the whole loan, I think I got the shaft...
