Hours of operation for what? The management? Visitors? The common areas?

I don't know what laws might require to do so.

But at the end of the day... that's not a bad idea. It can actually save you time and the annoying tenants always asking... when this??? when that???

Besides, when everything is in writing, if you are sued or a tenants is being mean... you have proof of it.

Depends on the rules in your city and/or state. You don't say where you live, but check with the housing authority.
