Renting & Real Estate - December 2006

Here's the situation: real estate prices fell, my mortgage is more then the condo is worth (which means I can't refinance). I am renting the condo out, but still have to come up with over $500 out of pocket every month to cover the HOA and taxes. I also have an adjustable interest (which will only keep going up). If I sell, I'm still going to own on the loan. I really don't want to foreclose. Can any one come up with any good ideas of what I should do?

is there such thing as a property manager that will take care of the maintenence of the house that needs to be done and the tenents and all of that stuff .......is there such a thing?

If you let a family member live in a house ( rent free) that you own...and then after 10 years want them to get out, but they dont want to cooperate is there an eviction process that you have to do since they have lived there 10 years and its there residence or can you just tell them to leave and they have to go because there is no rent or contract.

How do you get the best price possible for an odd size piece of land, that is buildable, in a residential district.

There are also businesses right near by and the town is expected to grow soon.

When my roommate moved in we signed a contract that I type and we signed it as a legal dacument, it say that the security deposit was not to be used as his last month rent, because it was to cover any damage done by him to the room or house. He know that he signed the contract and has a copy but said that he will use the security deposit as his last month rent. What can I do? I have to fix what ever is wrong with the room, and the door lock that he brock. What can I do?

because of our dogs. We have 2 pit bull dogs and we currently live in our home in the country. They have 1 acre to play on but it is fenced. For people that dont have experience with pit bulls-they are dog aggresive but no human aggresive. I am worried that we will move into town and our neigbors will hate our dogs b/c of the breed and we will have to put up with the stress of all that(already been there done that) However, most of the homes in the country where we are relocating to are mobile homes and we are really wanting to move into a brick home. What should we do and do you think people will come around to liking and accepting them? thanks to all and if you "hate pit bulls and blah blah..." please dont answer

i have been up and down the united states from miami, new york, and beyond, but its like every, every hotel and motel and store i go into is being owned by these indonesians. even got myself in a few spots were i was the only white guy in a black neighborhood for a twenty block radius, were you would think a black man would have owned a store. no indonesians own them to. The average american is lucky if they have a mortgage on one house and making payments on one vehicle. the indonesians not only can come in and get one home but 5, 10 plus, and a hotel, appartment complex ect.. heres a thought, next time you are walking through a mall or driving through a parking lot look to see what the foreign indonesians have then look and see what you have. the average american cant even get a hotel i know i tried in order for me to buy one i had to own twice what the property was worth. i would like to know why this is. i live in florida now and this is a foreign land, puertoricans and indonesians

I am 28 weeks,(7months) pregnant and I am moving from souther Colorado to New Mexico, (Rio Rancho) and I have no idea how to move! All the other times my husbands boss got the apartment and we left all our furniture at our house. But now we need a storage unit, and a apartment and we are trying to buy a small house too!
