how to private rent but on a low deposit?

most rents are 1 month in advance and 1 month deposit im looking for places that let you pay less

The only way you are going to do that is through a private home. Management companies worth their salt would not even consider that. Your deposit is basically a safety net in case you trash your place or skip out on your rent. Look on craigslist for anyone that is looking for a roommate. That is probably the only way you are going to get away with a low deposit.
