We are looking for a place ( in US ) at least 6000 square feet by good schools and doctors with stuff for kids to do.

( A 6000 sq. ft. place here costs almost a million dollars!!! )

Im trying to get ideas on where to go so I can start researching.

my husband and i are thinking of buying forclosed property in hawaii and then renting it out. we have never bought property before and would appreciate ANY useful information you could provide about hidden costs, your experience being a landlord, using a property manager, their fees, what to look for....anything. thanks in advance for your answers.

I am in the process of buying a house. We did a visit and made an offer. After some negotations, the house is now under contract.
We revisited the property to check on a "Jacuzzi" listed as one of the facilities inbuilt in the property. We could not find any. I contacted the seller's agent, who first said she did not know and will have to ask the sellers. Then she came back saying there is NO jacuzzi, the seller never said there was one and it was a mistake on her (the agent's) part to have listed it. I understand a Spa/Jacuzzi is not a fixture and is a permenent fitting (like other plumbing,etc) which has not to seperately itemized like fixtures to be included in an Agreement of Sale. What should I do to NOT allow the seller and their agent to get away with False and Misleading ads on the MLS ? Has anyone gone through a similar situation, taken for a ride by slimy agents? Is there any site where I can read results of similar situations and their resolution? Thanks for your help.

I am wanting to purchace a bigger home and I do not want to sale the house I have a mortage on now. I would like to use the house as a rental property. That way the renters would pay the current mortage and I could use the money I am paying out now toward the new home.

My hubby just informed me that he has been saving to get me a car and the guy selling it is letting it go cheap and he needs to get rid of it soon. Therefore my hubby thinks we should let our rent slide to put the money towards this car. Rent will be overdue by 2 months if this happens! I've tried to talk him out of it but I'm not having much luck. Any ideas how to handle this with him and how do I explain this to our landlord? Please help!

I'm not sure what i'm going to do as far as my "regular job" but I do want to be a part-time real estate agent to get some extra money on the side, plus i've always like real esate, but had a problem becuase I wanted a fixed income.

Also, i'm planning on living in manhattan(yes i know how expensive it is, thats why i want to become an agent)
