I've been complaining that the washer and dryer haven't been working for weeks. They have not come out to do anything. when i call, they say they know and they're trying to work on getting new(used)ones, or some other excuse.

is there anything legally i can do or say to them? i can't find anything about the laundry facilities in my renters agreement, so am i just out of luck?

I purchased a parcel of land from my aunt & uncle and didn't do a title search after she assured me that it wasn't necessary. (I know.... Stupid me!!) The purchase agreement and the contract signed at the closing both said that she was selling this property free of any encumberances, unpaid taxes, etc.... Now I find that there are several liens on the property. So I guess my own aunt lied to me. What courses of action do I have now?

I have a home that is in my name only and I'd like to refinance in my name only. My mom is on the deed but not on the loan and my husband is not on the deed and not on the loan. When I refinance do I need their permission or signatures on any loan documents?

My wife and I are 30-36 professionals with no children. We are considering relocating to the Charlotte, NC area, as we prefer urban culture, yet a safe and youthful environment, with good location to travel north and south on the east coast. Please share your experiences and advice :)

Okay here's my situation I am currently separated. When I left my home we had a buyer for the house and were set to go to settlement in 2 weeks. I moved into an apartment. The deal fell through. I found another buyer and that deal is falling through as well. My options are to go back to the house, giving up my apartment, or to let the house go to foreclosure. If I let the house go to foreclosure and subsequently file bankruptcy, how long will I have to wait typically to buy a house?

In my country the average house/flat costs $100,000, while the average salary is $520. (0,004% of the real estate price)

In the United States the average price is $755,000, while the salary is $3,065. (0,004%).

Are prices the same more or less (in comparison with the salary)?

(mortgage, property taxes, ect) after death the hospital that treated the cancer put a lein on the house. My friend who was not the executor stopped paying the mortgage. Due to very bad advice. 8-10 thousand was due. An auction of the house happened. It sold for 250$ thousand. Got to keep ALL of the belongings inside the house. Thankfully. Now the estate is closed. It was a miracle but the the hospital dropped the lein on the house. If the house never got auctioned it would still be in the family. Water under the bridge though.
If somehow by a miracle there is $$ left will it go to the family? The guy who stopped paying the mortgage is the heir btw. How do you find out how the funds were dispersed? Can I call and ask the mortgage company? Or does it have to be the estate lawyer/executor? Thank You :)

It is all furnished and everything is included other than cable and phone. I don't know how I should interview tenants, what I should charge or any laws regarding this. I don't want some young party happy person in there because I get up early and have 2 young kids. There is a shared backyard.

i need a place to live. i maintain school and work, both full time in riverside, CA. I need a rent range from $0- $300. thats my budget.

I know its pretty much impossible, but with all of my other bills, this is all i can afford right now. I have checked almost every apartment search yahoo/google offer.

If you know of a not-so-advertised website I can go to, to look up places, I would appreciate it...

Thank you
