My partner was banking with the woolwich (trading solely as Barclays now) He has 2 accounts, 1 basic and the other a current account. both these accounts were transferred to barclays. He had a debt of 105.00 on account (basic) and now barclays have taken £105 out of his current account and put it in the basic account to clear debt. can they do that? as the accounts were originally opened with woolwich. Barclaycard did the same a week ago and they refunded the payment. this has now left us with £7 between us until tuesday, I know he should pay his debts but dont critise u dont know our circumstances. any help would be good

Do I have to pay social security? I work at a church playing organ. It pays $75 a week. I'm 17 years old, and I live in New York State, if that helps.

My dad claims that I have to pay Social Security, so he won't let me spend the money I have saved. I need that money to buy a car.

So, do I have to pay, and please provide a source to back your answer up?

I had not lived with my father for over a year and he moved to a new address two years ago. SOMEHOW, some of my bills were changed to his address and my father's girlfriend opened my bills. She then discussed my finances with her family and members of my family. I have contacted one particular company for over 2 years regarding what they did but have never received a response and they have sent me into collection.

Somebody please help me! I can't afford an attorney at this time and I am lost on what to do!

have horrible credit, my girlfriend has no credit. My truck was stolen and we urgently need a vehicle, she's pregnant. We don't have to the time to save for a bigger down payment, and the interest rate will break us. Is there a way to show my income as my girlfriends while keeping my name off the note? We have a joint accout, and call our income "our money". Can I pay her a weekly salary to clean the house? If we show the weekly depsots into our shared checking account would the creditors look at it as her income?
