The easiest way to get rich - really rich - is to do what you love. The thing that throws most people for a loop is creating a kind of bridge from where they are right this minute over to that other venue for which they feel that love, and which therefore will sustain them - for the rest of their lives.

Get a good education, learn about investing, learn to take risks, learn about stock markets, mutual funds, commodities, real estate, forex/foreign exchange/foreign currencies, take a course in business management, etc.... After you have the above, the most important is to save 10% of what you earn and put some into an IRA: Roth or Traditional, put money into your company's 401(k), or 403(b), or what your company uses [here by "company", I mean the one you work for] play the occasional lottery, or go to the casino to try your luck from time to time, but don't take too much cash: bring enough cash (notice: I didn't say use Credit Cards) so you only lose that amount, and still have enough to go home. If after saving and earning all the above still aren't enough for you, start your own business [if you don't go bankrupt first].

The easiest (least effort) way is to give yourself a 15% paycut, and invest that 15% in a broad market mutual fund. Let's say your salary is $30,000/£15,000, and your boss gives you the choice of a 15% paycut, or losing your job...you'd probably take the paycut (at least for a while) and learn how to manage.

So invest 15% of your income BEFORE you spend anything else... If you are 20ish, & put $4,500/year in a fund yielding 12%, you'll have about $5M by the time you retire, even if you NEVER get a single pay raise!

Used money. Money is a tool to be used. You can make it and you can spend it and it's never really yours. All it is good for is transactions and if you don't have it you may not need it. Had an Uncle once that planted a $2 bill and planted a sapling, and it multiplied into an orchard of nut trees. People tried to dig it up, but all they got were peanuts. Then he cut down all the trees and grew houses. Then we had to plant him, 6' down and filled to the brim packed solid with $2 bills, and I'm still digging. My girl friend had to a good night working, she made 2 Bills. If you are gonna play the game ya got to pass the buck and get rich.

Being rich is a matter of spirit, however if you wish to be wealthy as fast as possible, stick the knife in their backs as soon as you get the chance. But being wealthy will not necessarily make you rich or happy. We can only give what we have so if you are full of spirit, dish it out to every situation that you find yourself in. All things being one, eventually it will come back to you. If you have to have faith and patience you can rich and wealthy along with everyone you touched along the way.

Find a hole in the market, invent or reinvent something the world needs. Associate with successful people, to learn from them and build your contact list. They can give you good advice and maybe your future investors. Be good to people. Read "How to win friends and influence people", its an awesome book! Work hard, take calculated risks, and reinvest. Know your skills, & improve upon them.
