I'm trying to see which would be best for personal use. I've had a little trouble in the past with Money because it doesn't seem to give much ease-of-use when it comes to refunds and/or rebates.

Any help is appreciated.

After some bad luck as far as losing my job and some medical problems, my house was forclosed and my car was repossesed and sold at auction. I am now getting statements from the lenders asking for the amount between what they were sold at and what the original loans were taken out at. Do I still have to repay these amounts? Is there a way out. Help!

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THIS UNLESS YOU WORK WITH IT AND KNOW IT WELL, I DON'T WANT SITES TO GO TO, NOR UNEDUCATED GUESSES, jokes are always ok as I love humor but i am looking for some basic info. I am 56, a numbers person & used to B more on top of this, but life has changed so much since I've been sick 4 10 years & rather out of it. I want 2 pay a couple of bills w- my new credit card, like some of the house taxes I owe,& first i want 2 determine which 1 actually charges me the true highest interest when compared in like terms (apples to apples ) I used 2 use APr questions, but now I see EAR or such ?? & on ebay I am being charged 1.5% 4 any unpaid monthly fee charges, but what does this 1.5% mean ?? I need a standardized term & also I used 2 know about car loans & how horrribly that interest is calculated & fixed home loans but now that I'm going2 refi my house in the next couple of years, I want to locate the best way and be able to compare interest apples to apples

I want to inlarge my kitchen, no new appliances, but extra oven, enlarge dining room, new carpets throughout house, pay off college loan and car loan. This would wipe out my IRA. But, I would have no home loan, nor any other bills, other than nomal cost of living.

Can anyone tell me whick bank or credit unions offer the best Online Savings account? In terms of interests, customer service, use of the internet banking etc

I currently have BankWest Telenet and am very disppointed. I cancelled the direct credit and they still tranferred money from my ANZ Bank. When I called the customer service, they had no ideas !!

Greetings {Job Opportunity}

My name is Donald Anderson, and I'm Irish (born and living in Ireland.)
I'm a freelance researcher. I am to head a environmental research in
Tropical West Africa, which is commencing soon. I do a lot of traveling to
cover various part of my research.

However most of my projects is being funded by American/Canadian
counterparts who send me payments via US/Canada based bank Money Orders
and checks. Which I have problem cashing, because it takes up to 4-6 weeks
to clear over here. Getting an accountant in the states or opening an
account would have been my best choice but I have a deadline to meet and
taking any of those choices would cost me time and a whole lot of other
requirements, which I will not be able to cope with.

I found your email via an online surveyed listing, and I am emailing you
to offer you a part time job of helping me cash checks/Money Orders in the
States/Canada. Which you will be getting a 10% payment from any amount of
check you receive as your commision for cashing the checks.

For starters your first payment will be $4,000, upon receipt of this you
are to have it cashed at your bank, deduct 10% (which is $400)as your
commission after which you will proceed to wire the 90% to me via Funds
transfer. All charges are to be deducted from the 90%.

Have it in mind that you are not putting any money upfront and your
banking informations are not required. If You are interested, you are to
provide me with the below informations to get started;

Your Name

Your Address (NOT P.O Box)

City, State, Zip

Occupation

Phone Number(s)

Note that you have to be 21 years of age and above to do this. If you are
not interested discard this message, and do not reply.

Sincerely,
Donald Anderson

I've recently been offered a new job and am leaving the company i've worked for for 1.5yrs. According to my contract if i've worked less than 2 years i can either have my contributions back (excluding the contributions my company puts in) and these will be taxed at 20% or i can have it transferred to my new pension contribution scheme with both my & the companies contribution - i pay 4% they gave 7% making it 11% altogether. they say i cannot keep it within the company. The problem is i've received my new contract from the new company and it says that they stopped accepting pension fund transfers in Apr 2006. So i don't really know what to do now because i don't want the money back and taxed further by 20% as on my payslip contributions are only taken after my basic is taxed so i will have paid tax on that money and now i have to pay more tax???, i'd rather have it in a pension fund somewhere. Any idea, somebody must have gone through this before?

My Dad invested in a fund called "Planning for College". He saved about $4000 for my college education. Later we were sent a letter saying the investors were being investigated (?). The fund stopped withdrawing from his account. We were encouraged to send letters to congress to have the matter settled quickly. We never received the money back and were never able to get in touch with those in charge of the fund.
