My fiance paid off his debt(10k) with the bonus(13K) he got from work. Now this makes sence and leaves him with 3k.We have been engaged 2yrs waiting for his money situation to get better so we can get married. He talked about having a cheap wedding/honeymoon(like 5k total) and i told him i would pay for half of everything(which is only fair) so he would not get in debt again.Well instead of saving the 3k for the wedding/honeymoon he went out and spent 2k on a gun(he all rdy has 2) and i feel the other 1k will disapear too.How can he tell me he wants a cheap w/h then go out and spend that kind of money on gun? When we get married we want to get a house/new furniture too.now i have some money but i don't feel i should be the only one paying for everything(wedding/honeymoon/house)I have talked to him about putting money away together for these things but he does not want to.

i started doing them yesterday and ive made about 3 bucks. but i have some questions about them
1. when you sign up to take a survey, the co. emails you surveys. so do you just keep doing the ones they send you and going back to the site and submiting that you did them
2. im not understaning how to have someone work under me
3. are people going to be calling my house alot because someone called for me today
4. should i just put my cell # instead of home even though it asks for home
5. some of the surveys ask for social security #, i dont do these because i think they are scams, are they?

My sister is financially strapped and could really use some extra money. Is there any way she can get cash from her 401K without incurring penalties??

(Most people do not save enough for retirement, my sister's problem is therefore unique, she has saved WAY more than she will ever need)

I received a raise in January. I still think I'm underpaid. How soon can I request a raise and how do I do so? I have some leverage because I am the only one that does what I do.

I was wondering,as I will be receiving a bank draft from my dad to pay for my college tuition fees, that should my dad overstates the amount to be paid in the draft, can I then be paid in cash by the cashier over the real amount?

For instance,my tuition fees may cost $1575.However,I'm still unaware of any changes that could be applied by the college.HEnce,if I receive my draft, with amount payable at $1575,and the tuiton fees are now at a total of $1350,can I be paid over the counter, the extra $225? In cash

I'm looking for a way to make the envelope system of budgeting work for me, but in the modern day world. I'd like to get multiple checking accounts if not accounts under one checking with debit cards from all of them (lets say 5). Then divide my check appropriately to each checking sub checking and use particular debit cards if its groceries, me, school, debt, etc. Is there a bank out there cares about thei customers enough so that they allow their customers to open multiple accounts to budget better? Thanks in advance for your help.

I currently use an XLS worksheet to budget and i have budgetted myself for 12months in advance. It changes as i go but i would like to be able to seperate accounts.

say you 10k in debt and the payments were just about managable. You find out that at the current rate of interest you will be paying it off for the next 10 years!
would you continue to pay the same amount off but be able to go out. or up the payments and cut the fun out of your life for 5 year?
