Is there a list online where I can check to determine the actual value (today) af my Series EE Bonds?

Would greatly appreciate this information. The bank I use said that it no longer was provided with that list and gave me a site (Federalreserve.gov) that did give me the information I was seeking. Please help. And, thanks!!!

Not sure if I'm in the right section, but what should I be looking for when choosing a bank? ( OR should this be in the "Other - Business and Finance? or in the Investing??) I recently got a new banking account at Wells Fargo and becuase i knew someone that worked there, i got a "hooked" up. I got both a checking and savings account, free checks, and a debit card. I also have online access to my banking account. Because i was hooked up, there is no minimum for me to have in my checking and savings. (other than just a dollar). Is this standard at other banks? Is this standard for you Wells Fargo customers? If Wells Fargo isn't a good bank which other banks should i consider? Bank of America? If this isnt in the right section please direct me to the correct one. I chose to post here becuase this is "personal financing" in a sense. If someone could help me it would be much appreciated.

Does that mean that a student loan I have at 4.75% will change to a different interest rate, starting tomorrow? I also have loans that are 5.75%... I've started the application for cosolidation on-line and it states my interest rate would be 5.5% is that really better? What will the instrest be? If my rate will stay the same for my 4.75% loans I won't want to consolidate them right?

What's the maximum term one can get on a personal loan? I took a loan out two years ago and it was for 36 months. It was for only $7000. Now I want to take a $25000 loan depending on the interest they will offer so that I can get an investment property. Before you tell me to get a mortage I'll let you know that it might turn out more expensive and a lot of places won't do it for so little money.

Anyway... how long of a term can I get on a $25K loan? (5-15 years?) And, does the term length depend on any other factor?

Thanks.

I just received a bill from Kaiser for a time when i was admitted into the hosiptal.
It was from April 05.
They sent a note with it saying that the were updating their files, and the realized they didnt bill me.
When I was discharged, they told me i would have to pay...then they couldnt get ahold of the person im billing, so they told me I would get billed in the mail. and they let me go home.

The bill is for $113, so its notlike i'll go broke over it. Its the point.

I received an out-of-state check in the mail. I need to know how I can go about verifying that this is a legitimate check and not a NSF check or any other type of invalid check.

Well, when those are paid off, why is that I still won't be able to get a credit card, and is there any way that I can build my credit up again?
