Her husband supposedly died, leaving eight million pounds sterling in some Security-something. Since, she, herself, supposedly isn't going to last many more months, she would like the money to be used for the less-fortunate, to a particular thing. Now- i am very puzzled. Now- I'm not against someone picking me to leave me their millions......, but I'm not going to get scammed either! Have her "Name", how can this b checked out!
I realize people get very ill, and many times they don't have children or anybody else- some times they just pick someone to leave their money to! BUT I DO Accept- only if it's the real deal!

So- my question is- how can I check it out?

I'm 22 years old and my single mother has passed away. After assets are liquidated, I expect to have about 20 thousand dollars. (There's more but I have siblings :P) I have no job right now. I was taking care of Mom. But I don't expect any difficulty finding one.

My car is paid for. I've thought about the insurance for it. I know I'll need money for gas, taxes, inspections, maintenance. I need food. I have a cell phone. I have two chihuahuas and a cat to take care of. *face palm but I love 'em* Then the apartment which I expect will be 800 a month. *shrug*

What else should I be thinking about? Thanks!

Should I take money out of my 401k plan to invest in income property. I would need the money to meet the down payment requirements.

accounting HW help?
Ok I almost finished it but still got 2 questions which I cant answer and I have no time to read the chapter for the 3rd time. So please accountants out there help.

1)The Prepaid Insurance account shows the following entries on June 30:
Beginning Balance $ 1,530
January 1 $2,900
May 1 $3,366
The beginning balance represents the unexpired portion of a one-year policy purchased the previous year. The January 1 entry represents a new one-year policy, and the May 1 entry represents the additional coverage of a three-year policy.

Insurance Expense?
Prepaid Expense?

2)On June 1, the company completed negotiations with another client and accepted a payment of $ 21,000, representing one year’s services paid in advance. The $ 21,000 was credited to Services Collected in Advance.
Services Collected in Advance?
Service Revenue?
Thanks. 10 Points to the person who does this.

I just left a job because we're moving. How do I get my retirement savings into another account without withdrawing it? I do not have a new job yet, so it wont happen there. The HR person didn’t mention anything about it when I did my exit interview, and I dont even know where to being. I have not been out of school for long, so this is all new to me.

I'm less concerned with the customer service and more with the results of gaining intrest.
