No. If you are questioning their validity, then I wouldn't sign anything with them. Look in the Better Business Bureau(BBB)http://search.bbb.org/ reports to see if they are registered with them. If not, I wouldn't do business with them.

I've been in the credit industry for 10+ years and no I have not heard of it. Perhaps its a sub company of a leading one. Like, Orchard and Beneficial is part of Household.

Nope, never heard of them . Try to stay away from credit cards . They tend to be easy to use and hard to pay off. If you have to get one use a major named company with a reputation.
