I am on disability. My working memory is impaired among a few other things. I receive $13,000 from S.S. and $500.00 from my divorce settlement which ends in a about 6 months. I've been doing volunteer work to improve my self esteem and get back into working. I've had problems with the work. I'm concerned how I can live on 13,000. or get a job. My vocational trainer doesn't want me to get a job as of now. What work do you think I could do? I also miss being in the work force. I used to be a successful manager. I looked into stocking shelves but the Voc. Trainer said that could be stressful also. I'm scared.

Heres the story, let me make it clear and as simple as possible.

I sold my imac on eBay for $999.00
2 Months later paypal contacts me saying that there was a charge back request and i have to pay it. (not even investigating!)
I call them, unfortunately, the credit card used to buy my item was stolen and the persons paypal account was fake, just made up for that one trans.

The person who lost thier credit card got the money from their bank cuz they had an insurance on it, The bank got the money from Paypal, paypal demands money from me. I don't have the item since i shipped it to the fu**ing bast*rd that stole the credit card to buy my imac. Now guess who's the looser!!!?? ME!!!! everyones else benefited right!!!

EVEN the guy that stole the credit card!

After like 20 calls to paypal, with complaints like, why are you just charging me the money without investigating, they reply by: "things like these happen to paypal every day. If we were to investigate all of them, we wouldn't able

I am looking into building a house. The problem is say I own a house worth x dollars and I owe less than the value of the house. I took out a home equity line of credit for the balance of the homes value. Now the problem is that land costs roughly the whole amount of the line of credit so if I buy the land I will have no money to start construction on the land I would now own. Is there a loan the banks can give me with next to no payments until the new house is built so I can sell the first to pay off the line of credit and the first mortgage?

I am buying a home. The mortgage broker tells me I can get a HELOC with zero closing costs in addition to the mortgage. I don't need it currently, but is it useful to get it for the future in case I need money? I am financially stable and have very good credit.

I work part-time at a popular food establishment (not revealing the name of it for privacy reasons) and earn about $6.50 an hour serving "whopper" of burgers to people. I want to make more money. I want to make at least enough to pay for a BMW. Oh yeah, I also want to pay off my $16,000 consumer debt. Any suggestions?

I wish I understood this concept better. Saw an article in the paper about a way to make money if you have good credit and some credit cards. The company name is ICB credit investors. They hook you up with people who need better credit to buy a house. Somehow you make money at no risk by letting these people with bad credit "rent" your good credit????

Saturday I received a check in the mail for $4975.00. The letter that came with said that I was approved for a grant. It said that this was the first part of my grant and to cash or deposit the check, then send the broker 10% commission. After this was done they would send the remainder of the grant which was $20,000. At first I thought whatever. Then I checked the website from the letter and yes, I had applied for a grant through the website. The check was made out from a Wells Fargo account. I called wells fargo to see if the account even existed and if the funds were available. To my suprise, yes the account was real, and yes funds were there. So I deposit the check into my account and sent the broker the 10% commission. That was on Monday and I haven't heard anything since. I'm just afraid that I was a dumb *** and got scammed. Could anything happen, as far as my bank goes, since wells fargo verified the account for me?

I've gone right off the idea of accounts you can access on the internet. I just want a good old-fashioned one with a passbook where I go into the bank or building society to get my money out. Does such an account still exist?
