D: Register your phone number with the national do not call list, and prevent salesman calling your home. This solves the dilemma of how to treat phone solicitors!

as a consumer i can understand why we all get frustrated. but do yourself a favor and get on the do not call list if you dont want any callers. as a loan officer sometimes you can actually save some cash by refi-ing your home at the right time. if you want to see if you can give the person a chance. have nothing to lose. you'd be suprised. BEWARE OF FAULTY LOANS THOUGH. you have to understand that other than word of mouth thats a way to drive business. if not interested say no or hang up but get on the do not call list. if you dont all callers will keep calling its not their fault. they legally buy leads. i try not to call myself. my business is mostly through referalls now. but we all start by doing calls.

Paid the house off 16 years ago. I'd probably choose A also. ;-)=

My response would be "A", but then I don't have a mortgage on my house, so I would be telling the truth.
