I recieved an offer in the mail for a ten thousand dollar credit card limit. It if I order two cards 5 thousand will be on both. I have to pay $37.50 for both cards or $29.00 for just one. It was sent from Plantinum Status Account.
Is this legit?

Just because they offer doesn't mean you have to take it, or mean that it's a good idea. Do you NEED another credit card? How will having a higher credit limit help you?

As a rule of thumb, never get a card with a credit limit that's higher than your current savings - if you hit a real emergency and need that big chunk of money, at least then you could repay it without getting stuck with a huge amount of interest that will increase and follow you for years until you can pay it off.

If the credit limit on your current card is enough to cover your monthly expenses, then you don't really need more. The potential boost to your credit score isn't worth the potential risk to your credit score if you get tempted into charging your way into debt.

You can find plenty of cards with no annual fee that still offer cash back and rewards, so don't pay a fee you don't have to.

It might be legit, but why would you want to pay to get a credit card? And what is the interest rate? A credit limit is not free money. If you use the cards you will have to pay even more in interest. There are lots of free cards available. It would not make sense to pay a fee for a card.

Ask yourself: Do I need the credit? If I use it, how will I repay it? If you need a credit card, first try a well known bank. Don't fall for this mail offer. They are looking for suckers.

If you do not know the sender then it is probably not legit. Same thing like e-mail. Spam mail.
