They 'loaned' me 84p to pay a direct debit for which the money was in 12 hours later and charged me £30 for the privalige.

I used to work on a till and was always told it was illegal not to obtain a signature/confirm a PIN when a transaction was processed. When I presented my card the other day I entered my PIN and was then told that it "wasn't working properly" so the merchant just swiped my card through and didn't bother asking for a signature, despite the receipt reading "signature verified". Is this legal at all? I'm just a little concerned at how easy it was to use my card without any sort of verification of my idenitity.

Hello,

My sister deposited money into my savings account from hers.
When I called up it includes this amount in the balance but it isn't included in available balance.

How long will it take until it is available because I need it in 5 hours to buy a car!

in math we're doing these job projects, and one part is you take the salary of your job and plan your future budget. i've done everything but the miscellaneous, and i can't think of anything. after taxes, rented house(have to rent), heat and electricity, phone, food, transportation, and clothes, i've spent $102,760 out of $ 228,200.

in misc. i have eating out, movies, cell phone, savings, pet needs, furniture, landscaping, maid service, charity, internet access, iO cable, lawn decor..lol.. Vegas Timeshare, benefits, work clothes, and parties/gatherings/BBQ's. All together with that i spent $ 50,328. that means i only spent $ 153,088.

PLEASE HELP WITH THE OTHER $ 75,112!!!

I bank with lloyds tsb in the uk. I have an old sole account and a joint account with my now ex partner. I have accidently deposited money into the joint account (a couple of times now) only to have that money stolen by my ex by the time i have realised what ive done.

I have absolutley zero idea where my ex gf is so have no way of contacting her in order to get her to close the account with me.

The (very unhelpful) man behind my branches counter tells me that they need consent from myself AND the ex to close the account, but they wont contact her nor will they give me her address details!

Can someone figure this information out through skiptracing or a program they can order online? I have strong beliefs that some one has been snooping thru my personal information using some type of internet program or skiptracing. I'm just trying to figure out how. I don't think that the person will do anything illegal but they are just being nosey and I am just curious as to how this person has found out this information. I am positive that they have not seen any of my bank statements.

My parents are re-writing their will to include my half brother. He is my father’s son and chose not to contact my father for twenty nine years. He finally was curious and called him and they met. My father is not a deadbeat dad, both he and my half brother’s mother were married and both decided that it was best to allow my brother to decide when he wanted to meet my father. My parents asked my opinion and I am not sure what answer to give them. What should they leave my half brother in their wills? He is not my mother’s son so should he get an equal share of everything that they have worked for? Their estate will not be huge, but substantial, and they don’t want to give anyone the shaft. They want to be fair to all of us, including him. Despite the fact that he wasn't part of the family his entire life, he is now. There are two other siblings. I do not begrudge him anything, but I am curious about others opinions.

I made a mistake and 3 purchases went past what I had in my bank account. A fee of $30-something dollars was charged for each and every day I'm in the negative zone I get charged an additional $7.00!! How do I get the bank to stop this so I can catch up! I can't borrow money from anybody cause I'm over a hundred dollars in the negative. If I quit the bank will they stop the charges and just make me pay the remaining fee?
Any advice would be great! Thank You!

My checking accounts have been garnished and I need to open a new account for bills and my pay checks. Can Ford continue to garnish new accounts? What about opening a joint checking account? Can Ford still garnish that too? I plan on filing bankruptcy in about 6 months, hopefully chapter 7. Does Ford have the right to sue me for the entire remainder of the lease even if they sold the truck, which only had 6,000 miles on it? I know this is alot of questions, but I'm a single mom vs Ford. Please help. P.S. The truck was only 1 year old,a 2006 F-150.
