I want to get out of credit card debt. I'm in college, but am working. I have several cards that are at their limits, and have used most of my savings trying to pay the interest each month. I probably have a total of $5000 in debt, and while I make around $8000-10000 a year, I do have other expenses to pay. What are my options?

I have a medical bill from 10 years ago, that I was just told about. It's not like it's a million dollars or anything, but I would think that if I owed this money, someone should have contacted me before ten years had passed!! The hospital is telling me I owe the money, and I don't know how to check it.

Can I avoid paying it legally? If someone can refer me to the proper statute in the Ohio Revised Code or whatever, I would appreciate it!

The issue being the credit check. I have good credit, but I have not had a job in a while. This obviously effects the decsion on wether to give me a loan or not. I have more than enough money to pay for a nice car.

I have requested my annual credit report through the annualcreditreport website, but I'm not sure when should I expect my report, will this be through postal office mail or my personal email address. I have call them to find out, but they don't have customer service assistance.
What should I do, to ensure they receive my personal information and this is a secure website.

I just booked a vacation to vegas and think I may have spent too much based on what I make. What I spent is about a month's worth of my yearly earnings. Is that normal? What should be the actual percent of your yearly income that goes to a vacation do you think?

My brother is very rich and a very successful business man who wants for nothing. He has everything he wants and can buy anything he wants. I on the other hand are struggling to pay my bills each month, but he has worked very hard for his money and employs me and pays me well. I admire him so much.

In December he is 40 and I really want to buy him something very special. I have 6 months to save. I am willing to spend about £250.

Any ideas would be greatfully received. Thanks.

The don't-buy-gasoline on May 15th boycott really doesn't solve the problem does it? I mean, we still have to buy the same amount of gasoline unless we change our driving habits. What about buying only a half-tank at a time and reducing our driving to create a surplus thus forcing oil companies to lower prices?

I'm 17 years of age. I have a stable job [15 hr] that I've had for almost a year.
I cannot get my parents to co-sign, is there any way that I can recieve an auto loan?
I have 1500 in The bank, for a new car, and my current car' went down the drain. I want 18,000.

Any ideas would be appricated. My monthly income == 700 every two weeks, x2 == 1400. My monthly expenses include a 100 cell phone bill, and insurance [also 100].

Thanks in advanced.

I need about $230 and want to get a paintball gun in time to play with it over the summer when I'm off school. Please... no lemonade stands though (they don't work, and I know from experience) And there aren't any church options.

I'm 47. I'm working two jobs - manual labor. One job has 401k, but I can't invest in it at this time. I'm working 70 hours per week - it's just making me feel old and tired. I rent and live alone. I'm paying down two significant older debts. There are other debts I'm putting on the back burner. I pay child support - I just got caught up to date with that payment. I don't have a tv, or any expensive toys. Car repairs have taken a big chunk of my income - and I still need to do more just to make my old car safe.

I recently took another job with a better retirement/benefit plan. I had worked for 10 years at another place and wanted to know what should I do with the money that had been put into my retirement plan. I want to roll it over to something else seeing as I'm not contributing to it anymore. I do have a financial advisor, but wanted some other opinions as well.
