You will have to transfer the money from a Roth to another vehicle. IRS regulations are pretty tight on how a Roth can be distributed, and I think it accelerates pretty quickly if it becomes inherited.

If it is a trust account you can make requests or demands for distributions at certain periods of the child's life. However, you'll need a lawyer to make this an official document, and not just your wishes, such as a beneficiary is.

Yes, I think you can, you need to put the money in a trust and have the trust make distributions per your request. I am sure you will need a lawyer to do this or perhaps a very smart finiancial advisor could help but I am thinking you need a trust lawyer.
