I am transitioning from the Military to the civilian sector this fall. I plan to use the fall season to look for jobs and also finish up my masters program... I am just wondering if anyone knows if you can still collect unemployment even though I'll be going to school part time.

I am starting all over at age fifty five, lost everything to divorce, so will attempt to work until I am seventy. I have a nice full time job, and was told by some I can indeed collect the lower SS amount at 62. Others say I can only earn $1200, if I start collecting social security, and must retire any way in order to collect. Which way is it, and why?

We have a Bank of America checking/saving account with some money in it (not a lot). We also have bank of america credit cards with thousands of dollars on them (we've used them to that point I mean). If we file for bankruptcy, can we keep the checking account we've had for 17 years?

I have ran away from all the bills I owed in Indiana. I had a house that foreclosed, credit card bills, hospital bills, an additional loan, property taxes, overdrawn checking account, you name it, I had it. I was wondering what will happen to me. How many years do I have to stay in hiding, or do I have to stay in hiding forever? I don't have a job. Is there a limted time that one can file for bankruptcy?

I only need $10,000 to save my hose from foreclosure, pay some debt and, start fresh I lost lots of money last year due to medical bills, My wife gave birth to tree babies and couldn't go back to work. Now I'm making really good money and my wife is working again but because of bad credit we can't get a loan to caught up. We are very depress, We are good hard working people and we can't beleive that for $10,000 wi'll be loosing everything we worked for the last 7 years. Does anyone knows someone that will let us borrow the money even with high interest. I'll be willing to make payments directly from my pay check every month so there is no doubt I'll pay back.
Those private lenders that advertise in this sight are all scams.
Please if you know someone that is legit give me the info.
Thank you I appreciate your help.
It's just insane to think that for less than what some people spend in a dress I will be loosing everything including my pride and dignity.

You are 21 years old.
You have $11,000 saved up from working very hard at McDonald's, and years of being a total miser by never having fun with your money when you were 16, 17, 18, 19, or 20 by always saving.

You make the stupid mistake of spending it ALL on a car. Instead of getting a old, reliable car from a private seller who was an auto mechanic who took care of the car and then you need $1,000 from you mom to take of the total cost of $12,000 after tax.

Think about it,

You're financially powerless.
You're at the mercy of others all over again.
You have no savings in your bank anymore.
You can't buy anything else.
You can't spent it on anything from EBAY.
You can't spent it on "kinky fun".
You can't spend it on anything fun.

Had you spent $2,500 on a reliable old car, you'd have $8,500 left over and could have fun with $2,000 savings the other $6,500 in the bank for your future.

How would feel in this scenario?
You're suddenly finacially powerless.

my lawyer insists that the settlement money for my daugther be put in trust fund or a money market account unitl shes 18. because she is a minor. this is not really big amount of money, to say its over 10k and i would like an answer if there is a way not to do this anymore. As the parent i think this will be wise considering what would happen in the future if my daughter develop a medical condition caused by accident or have hers scars treated, i may need this funds for my daugher but if the money is in a trust i cant get a hold of it and i think the lawyer has greater control over this account.

I don't even know if I spelled it right, but I bought an item on Ebay and added $2 worth of inserance as they allowed. It's been almost three weeks and I have not recieved the item or tracking number, and am about to report this person. The item cost about $27, will the insurence on it allow me my money back, and how would I go about doing that, through Paypal? (That's where I sent my item through by the way)
